PHARMAQulture; our people, values and beliefs, is the foundation for growth and development of PHARMAQ. By focusing ahead and learning through experience we will face the challenges of the future. Young people represent the future, and they are the most valuable resources to society and any local community. In this context we are happy to make our contribution by sponsoring activities targeting future generations through our PHARMAQ Sponsorships.
Caring for the environment is, both a global and a personal daily responsibility. All of us are facing rapid environmental changes due to global warming with all its consequences. We want to make our contribution through environmentally sound products and processes within PHARMAQ and through our PHARMAQ Sponsorships.

Lochcarron Camanachd's
shinty team
for
under 12 year olds
Shinty is Scotland's oldest indigenous team sport with origins way back in the Celtic Heroic Age - 2000 years ago. It is played mainly in the Highlands and among emigrant Scots in other countries. It is closely related to an Irish game called Hurling. The game is played between teams of twelve players with a bent stick or caman in Gaelic and has a passing resemblance to ice hockey and golf both of which may owe their origins to shinty. It is a fast game requiring great skill and stamina. Most players come from shinty-playing families with the skills passed down through the generations. |
