Vaccines - an investment in fish health

The general trend in the industry is that preventive disease measures such as vaccination, is considered to be a necessary tool which give the industry an obvious beneficial cost/benefit ratio. Preventive disease measures are also an important part of the standards such as Global G.A.P. and Aquaculture Stewardship. Effective vaccines will help to ensure growth and reduce mortalities of farmed fish through immune protection against diseases and thereby also reduce the need for antibiotics.
