PHARMAQ aims to be present at a wide range of relevant conferences, trade shows, meetings and various aquaculture events worldwide. In addition PHARMAQ arranges seminars and conferences for our customers. The purpose of these events is to strengthen the relationship with our principal customers and share our knowledge and experiences within fish health.

Huge interest for sea lice seminar in Chile

March 15th PHARMAQ Ltd Chile arranged a customer seminar in Puerto Montt Chile focusing on sea lice.

As the usage of closed tarpaulins during delousing treatments will become mandatory in the coming months in Chile, PHARMAQ arranged a sealice conference with the aim to give fish farmers in Chile a smoother implementation of the new legislation. Issues covered during the seminar were tips about who to treat with closed tarpaulins, both in the manner of handling the tarpaulin it self and best practise on oxygenation, distribution of bath treatments in the cage and what treatment to use.

A more than hundred Health Managers, Technical Managers, CEOs and CFOs from the Chilean salmon industry shoved up to this meeting

The seminar was rounded with speeches from BCI Bank highlighting economical and financial conjuncture in Chile and from Sr Carlos Sanhuenza from Universidad Adolfo Ibañez about how to improve success with becoming a better listener.
