Mr Onur Emre SOLAK appointed as General Manager of PHARMAQ Turkey Ltd. (2011-11-22)
PHARMAQ opened its PHARMAQ Turkey Ltd office in Izmir in May of this year. This is in line with PHARMAQ's strategy to increase the presence in important aquaculture markets. Through our own office we will be able to provide strong support in this valuable market.
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Onur Emre SOLAK as General Manager of PHARMAQ Turkey Ltd. Mr SOLAK will work closely with our R&D group and our manufacturing facility in Norway. PHARMAQ has been present in Turkey over the previous two decades. We recognise the growing fish farming industry in the region and are prepared to provide increased support to the industry with our fish health products and competence", says Morten Nordstad, CEO of PHARMAQ.
Mr SOLAK has a major in business administration and extensive experience in the retail sector. He has also worked for the family owned aquaculture business in Turkey.

The new office is based in Alsancak, the main business area of Izmir and will serve the aquaculture market throughout Turkey. Mr SOLAK will be supported on a regular basis by Donald Campbell, Sales and Business Manager for the Mediterranean region and Claudia Maira DVM, Clinical Scientist. .
