Carlos Iván Lobos Blumenfeldt - new Business Unit Director for Fish Vet Group in Chile

[January 26, 2021] We are happy to announce the appointment of Carlos Iván Lobos Blumenfeldt as the new Business Unit Director for the aquaculture Diagnostic operations located in Puerto Montt, Chile.

In July 2020 we acquired Fish Vet Group as a strategic addition to our aquaculture business. We have now hired Carlos Iván Lobos Blumenfeldt to lead the diagnostic technologies operations in Chile. He is located in Puerto Montt, Chile and reports to Nils Arne Grønlie, General Manager PHARMAQ Analytiq.

Carlos Iván Lobos Blumenfeldt has throughout his career acquired broad knowledge about the salmon and trout industry from delivery of services, to production, projects, sales and promotional activities. He comes from the position as Technical and Development Manager at Hendrix Genetics Aquaculture S.A being responsible for technical aspects of production as well as research and development for genetic improvement of Atlantic salmon and Rainbow trout. Carlos has previously held various positions in Aquagen Chile S.A., Products del Mar Ventisqueros S.A. and Aquatic Health Chile S.A.
